TOMCAT U 2023

Attendees from across the United States and Canada gathered in Thousand Oaks, CA in January for our annual, week long, TOMCAT U Truss and Rigging workshop. This sold out event included a day of truss training, from our very own Adrian Forbes-Black, and Keith Bohn, one day of studying rigging engineering with industry engineer, Jeff Reder, and 3 full days rigging training by industry legend, Bill Sapsis. Our California location has a custom training facility, which includes not only a classroom for 50 people, but a ground support structure which allows for hands on training.
Along with lots of learning, attendees were also treated to a night Karting, axe throwing and tacos at our warehouse, along with daily lunches, and plenty of time to meet other industry professionals, and network. Also included was the famous TOMCAT swag!
 
More events are planned in the coming months, including one day trainings on truss inspections, truss 101, and Understanding load tables, deflection & basic load math, with TOMCAT U ’24 returning in 2024!  For more information contact tomcatu@tomcatusa.com.
