Objectives
Responsible for managing multiple design briefs, developing and designing of product that will become a
prototype for production; Managing projects from concept to production
Main Responsibilities
- create and develop extraordinary concepts respecting company identity
- prepare & manage project planning to meet „launch date“
- prepare drawings of products and components to meet brief expectation-functionally and esthetically conduct market research to identity new trends, technologies; materials & solutions
- develop components in cooperation with other departments
- act as support for out sourcing and production implementation process
- create multiple models and drawing for inside company presentations
- actively communicate to supervisor updates; delays; difficulties you met
- apply modification demands of management as primary goal
- perfom other duties as assigned and deemed necessary based or business needs
- maintain CAD archive
- coordinate project priorities and communicate conflicting timelines for resolutions
- collaborate with all internal teams involved in product development process
- create full drewings for functional products
- transfer requirements in practical product featares
- keep in mind "productibility" as one afmest impotent features
- when designing, take into account the production possibilities, certifications, availability of materials in our company
- know the production processes and adapt the design to them
Skills
- Engineer degree required or equivalent combination of education and or experience
- 2+ years of prior experience in same/similar role
- innovative thinking always keeping up to date with technology
- proficiency in solid modeling software
- ability to work independently
- good communication skills
- must be able to explain technical documentation and technologies
- good interpersonal skills and team player
- occasional travel required
- fluent english is a plus
- knowledge of materials and their manufacturing processes and techniques
- attention to detail
- willingness to learn
