Objectives
Responsible for implementing, maintaining defining A4I quality system throughout the plants;
comunicating quality initiatives as well as executing actions to ensure that A4I quality standarts are
constantly met
Main Responsibilities
- ensure that A4I quality criteria are met in each step of production process,
- in existing products and during product development
- sett new criterias
- provide regularly factory inspection to identify quality issues and how quality criteria are fullfilled
- manage quality documentation
- create standard operation procedures and visual aids
- manage quality reporting with results and goals
- create and complete all quality action plans
- provide quality related training for company personnel
- communicate all new quality initiatives and heavily support implementation process
- manage customer complain databases and implement actions for permanent improvement in order to not happen again
- develop tools and templates for quality actions
- share quality best practices with other A4I entities worldwide
- execute site visits, conduct audit of quality systems and overall facility assessment
- provide feedback to various teams inside organization
- evaluate new proposed suppliers
- regularly collect concrete feedback from sales teams concerning A4I and its brands customer quality perception
- prepare and review supplier quality metrics to drive improvement, suppliers treining in using them
- collaborate with design & process engineers to define parameters to ensure suppliers process capability is effective to meet our requirements
- communicate with suppliers improvements in suppliers quality
- conduct product reviews to identify root of problems and advise corrective actions
- provide technical advice and quality guidance to lower defect rates
- pay special attention to surfaces of products without final coating; scratches, edges
- provide concise, complete and accurate documentation of inspection results
- liasion with suppliers to continualy validate products, parts & processes to stimulate continuos improvement
- perform on site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of correction issues
- corrective actions reports and evaluation of improvements
Skills
- Engineer degree required or equivalent combination of education and or experience
- 3+ years of prior experience in same/similar role
- ability to drive change
- experience working with teams in production
- practical knowledge and experience in leading containment and root cause activities
- very solid communication and liaision skills
- experience with quality management
- analytical skills
- knowledge of common process in problem solving root cause analysis
