Your tasks and responsibilities are:
  • Creating user manuals for end users in English and German
  • Researching, planning and editing product information and risk assessments in close cooperation with product development, product management and marketing.
  • Adhere to and further develop the specified standards for document preparation
  • Observing the requirements of our target group, considering technical and intercultural differences
  • Researching and analysing the software used for document creation and its implementation
  • Supporting our "rigging commandos" from in the creation of storyboards
  • Managing our library of CAD symbols and helping to expand it, communicating with software providers who implement our libraries
What you bring with you:
  • Training as a technical writer or comparable further training or retraining. Self-taught career changers are also welcome.
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • A high level of technical understanding combined with a practical or manual aptitude and three-dimensional imagination
  • A quick grasp of assembly processes of complex structures
  • Knowledge of the use of (XML-based) content management systems
  • Knowledge of translation-oriented writing
  • Knowledge in the use of 3D CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
  • Strong communication skills within an international team of employees
  • Experience in the event industry is an advantage
